90th Birthday Celebrations!

Last weekend our Service User, Ronnie, celebrated his 90th birthday in style!

Ronnie has been supported by Dalriada for more than 2 decades and there was no way his team was letting the milestone pass without pulling out all the stops.

Ronnie woke up to find his house had been decorated with balloons and banners, before enjoying a trip to the ten pin bowling with a friend and some of his staff team. They were also joined by Mary, who supported Ronnie for many years before she retired. A great time was had by all!

On the Monday, we decided to throw an extra surprise party for Ronnie at our office. Ronnie was dressed in one of his favourite outfits - his kilt! And was greeted by his favourite instrument - the bagpipes!

A lot of the staff popped in to celebrate with Ronnie and he really enjoyed chatting with everyone and listening to music. He even gave us a rendition or two of some of his favourites.

Huge thank you to all the staff who made Ronnie’s birthday so special. Thank you also to Gordon Patterson for giving up his time to come and play the bagpipes for Ronnie and Sarah for making his amazing cowboy birthday cake!
