Inspection Report

On the 10th of January 2023, we received an unannounced inspection from the Care Inspectorate. The inspection took place over a total of 3 days, which included time spent in our office as well as time visiting service users in the community and talking to others over the phone.

This was our first inspection since April 2019 due to the Covid pandemic. Throughout this time we had regular contact with the Care Inspectorate. This was done in a number of ways; Weekly notification with regards to staffing levels, check in emails and Teams video calls with our Inspector, and ad hoc notifications where reportable incidents occurred. We also attend an ongoing regulatory forum, ran by Scottish Care, where a representative from the Care Inspectorate attends along with colleagues from Disclosure Scotland and the SSSC.

We are pleased to say that we scored 5’s (Very Good) on all the areas inspected. We are extremely proud of our entire team and the continued hard work they put in to ensuring a high standard of care.

We would also like to say a huge Thank You to our friends at PASS System. Implementing this care management software has hugely improved our ability to be a responsive and transparent service.
